Stones in backpack are not used with slingshot.  Moving flint, stone, smooth-stone to main inventory allows firing.

Perhaps this in intentional, but, I am able to combine berries+grasses into berries-on-a-string from backpack inventory.

Repairing, specifically using Clay on a Kiln.  The clay in inventory used but the backpack clay was ignored.
